CHARACTERISTICS

KOMBU ROYAL (SACCHARINE LATISSIMA) is a brown seaweed belonging to the Class Phaeophyceae.ย  It consists of a long blade that can grow up to 5 meters, with a wavy edge. When KOMBU ROYAL is put to dry on it, a shimmering white layer forms; it is not salt but sugar, hence its name: SUGAR KOMBU.

NUTRITIONAL VALUES

ORGANIC KOMBU ROYAL seaweed contain high amounts of Mineral Salts and Trace Elements, Iodine, Magnesium, Potassium, Sulfur, Phosphorus, Zinc, Copper, Selenium, Molybdenum. KOMBU ROYAL contain various Pigments including Chlorophylls A and C (c1, c2, c3), Beta-Carotene, Vitamin B12, Fucoxanthin, Fucoidan and other Carotenoids.

PROPERTIES

ORGANIC KOMBU ROYAL is particularly rich in Iodine, Potassium, Laminarin, Mannitol and Alginates. When used regularly it reactivates metabolism, promotes blood circulation, regulates blood pressure and aids drainage and detoxification. Also useful for those suffering from intestinal fermentation.

Iodine contained in KOMBU ROYAL seaweed promotes the synthesis of thyroid hormones. These hormones stimulate oxygen consumption at the cellular level and take part in the process of fat and carbohydrate metabolization.

KOMBY ROYAL seaweed has an alkalizing, detoxifying, antioxidant action. It improves brain, muscle, and prostate functions.
