CHARACTERISTICS

SEA LETTUCE (ULVA LACTUCA) is a green seaweed belonging to the Chlorophyceae class. Among algae, it is one of the best known species, is the richest in chlorophyll and is the closest to terrestrial plants.

NUTRITIONAL VALUES

ORGANIC SEA LETTUCE is a seaweed particularly rich in calcium (30 times more than milk). SEAFOAM LETTUCE draws an incomparable wealth of bioavailable minerals and trace elements from the marine environment. It is particularly rich in Iron, containing on average 15 times more than egg yolk and spinach. It contains Copper, Zinc, Phosphorus, Sulphur, Selenium, Manganese.

SEA LETTUCE is an invaluable source of Carotenoids, Chlorophyll, Polysaccharides, Vitamins including Vitamin B12, Essential and Non-Essential Amino Acids, it also contains Histidine (essential amino acid for children).

PROPERTIES
